Chiropractic Succeeds When Medical Care Could do Nothing

A 49-year-old music composer who exercised regularly on a treadmill began developing mild chest pains that soon became quite severe. After seeking and receiving traditional medical care to no improvement, he went to his chiropractor who quickly resolved the problem.

The chest pains began one day during the man’s regular daily workout routine. While exercising on his treadmill, he developed a dull pain and achy chest and had some difficulty breathing. He was not alarmed to any degree and declined to seek medical attention. He thought the condition would  simply improve on its own.

When the condition only worsened over the next two weeks the person, now quite concerned, sought medical care. A doctor’s examination revealed elevated blood pressure at 140/97. He was  diagnosed with muscular chest pain as well as a rapid heart rate. The doctor’s prescribed medication was two-fold: anti-inflammatory drugs and beta-blockers (a drug that regulates heart activity). The patient felt that his beta-blockers made him extremely drowsy, and the anti-inflammatory drugs did not relieve his chest pain.

In spite of the medication, most all of the man’s problems seemed to worsen further. Even with extensive testing, nothing was found to solve his growing problem. Soon he had difficulty sleeping with pains radiating to his upper back as well. It got to the point where he couldn’t work or perform most physical activity.

Fortunately, at this juncture, he paid a visit to his chiropractor. A simple examination pointed to the fact that the man had subluxations (a partial dislocation of bones that leaves them misaligned but still in some contact with each other).

One treatment put the man on the road to immediate relief. After the first session, the man stood up, took a deep breath and exclaimed that he could breathe much easier.

A sustained program of Chiropractic care followed averaging 3 visits per week for 14 weeks. This program lead to a complete resolution of the man’s previously chronic condition.

Basically, when extensive medical care could do nothing to even keep his condition from getting worse, he got his life back through Chiropractic care.
