Taiji/Qigong Classes

Qigong (translated as “energy work”) is an ancient and holistic art form that includes exercise of the physical, mental, and spiritual.  In traditional Chinese medicine, it is the physical or exercise component of maintaining health, strength, and wellbeing.

The combination of gentle stretching movements and breathing used in qigong have been shown effective in the treatments of many issues.

Beginners are welcome to drop in for any of the classes


Intro to Pilates Workshop

Come and experience a free one hour Pilates class.  Pilates has been practiced by dancers, boxers, and fitness enthusiasts for decades to attain extraordinary strength and fitness without losing flexibility or adding unnecessary bulk.  More recently, Pilates has become well known among orthopedic and physical therapists as a safe and highly effective method to recover from and prevent injury.

Regular work in Pilates will help you:

  • Build strength
  • Increase flexibility
  • Eliminate pain
  • Improve awareness and control of your spine
  • Improve balance
  • Build and tone muscle
  • Improve sports performance (Skiing, Biking, Golfing, Running, Tennis, etc.)
