Doctor of Chiropractic - Whole Health Center at Lone Tree

Dr. Katie was born and raised in Sioux City, IA. She received her chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. She moved to Denver in 2010, after working as a Chiropractor for a year in Toronto, Canada.

She has extensive training in the care of both the pediatric and pregnant patient. She is Webster Technique certified (with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association).

Dr. Katie became interested in Chiropractic after an adjustment relieved her from migraines that she had been experiencing for years. That adjustment made her rethink what she wanted to do as a career and she began to research chiropractic. Dr. Katie loved that chiropractic allowed the body to heal itself and function more efficiently without the help of medicines.

While in practice, she found her patients needed much more help with their health. Many were just taking medication to get by and manage their symptoms. Dr. Katie is your functional medicine practitioner! She uses functional medicine help you find answers to the cause of your illness and the nutritional and biochemical imbalances that may be making you feel ill. Functional medicine is personalized medicine that deals with root cause of disease instead of just treating symptoms.

Dr. Katie will search for underlying triggers that are contributing to your illness through cutting edge lab testing and tailor the intervention to your specific needs as an individual. She may use diet, supplements, lifestyle changes or medication to treat your illness but will seek the gentlest way to help your body restore balance along with the least invasive treatment possible.

She seeks to promote wellness and create hope, health and healing by working with you!

In her spare time, Dr. Katie enjoys working out, reading, and spending as much of her time as she can skiing and hiking.
